The Ivory Coast (Cote D’Ivoire), the source of much of the world's
coffee, cocoa beans and palm oil has been an oasis of stability in
war torn West Africa since its independence in 1960. Now, as our
country sinks deeper into chaos, it threatens to take much of the
region with it.
How did we get to this point? The answer to this question is very
simple: Bad leadership. An overwhelming majority of our people has
lost all faith in our so-called “Great Leaders” and their ability to lead
and bring about peace.
The infernal Trio Bedie-Gbagbo-Ouattara has lost total credibility
because of their direct involvement in economic and blood crimes.
Their only legacy is nothing more than a well-documented criminal
track record.
No matter how you look at it, our Country has never been in worse
shape and we deserve better.
More than ever, we need a new generation of leadership - we
need Tiemoko Coulibaly.
We need a new way of thinking and of doing politics. That is why we
are chairing the campaign to elect Dr.Tiemoko Coulibaly, our
Candidate for the upcoming presidential election of the Ivory Coast
(Cote D’Ivoire), scheduled for October 2005.
Our Candidate is a man of vision and an impeccable integrity. By far,
he is the favorite of an impressive majority of our people. A young
visionary, our candidate, has been fully engaged in our national
debates and has been highly instrumental in the peace process of
the Ivory Coast (Cote D’Ivoire). Dr. Tiemoko Coulibaly intends to
build bridges to unite a deeply divided country. His vision for the
country is to bring peace and harmony through sweeping changes in
the political arena as well as providing a stable and credible
environment for the emergence of a truly reliable partner in West
Africa and beyond.
Adding to our political problem is a growing social crisis, which will
drive our country to bankruptcy if not addressed. The AIDS health
crisis. This deadly disease threatens the very core of our society
and it can explode into our publicly financed Medical system.
In our country, more than 10% of the population is HIV positive and
more than a quarter of the 10% has full-grown AIDS virus. This is a
tragedy and our candidate intends to make the AIDS endemic, a
TOP PRIORITY.
In addition, the growing impact of single parenthood is driving more
mothers onto welfare, forcing their children to be raised in poverty.
Finally, the drug culture is seeping out of the veins of our children
and into our criminal justice system. Tiemoko Coulibaly has a plan
to put an end to this in order to protect our children.
To be blunt, we cannot continue like we have. Morale is low, and the
people of the Ivory Coast (Cote D’Ivoire), are ready for a change.
More than ever, we need a new generation of leaders - we
need Tiemoko Coulibaly.
